Team Communication

🧭 Context

Shifts & Team Communication are workforce management tools from Square (now part of Block, Inc.). They help small businesses manage scheduling, time tracking, labor costs, and payroll prep. The products were new, and we needed both high-level and nitty-gritty pages for leads to explore.

📝 My Role

UX Copywriter

• Co-wrote all web copy in collaboration with another writer
• Led legal reviews, localization coordination, and QA
• Helped present final copy to stakeholders

✍️ What I Created

• Hero/header copy (my H1 “Your time—streamlined” was selected in a team vote)
• Section and feature copy explaining functionalities
• CTAs and benefit statements throughout the pages
• A full localization chart for global translation
